All Points East tour of the month: Images of Laos

Burma/Myanmar

Myanmar - “Burma...quite unlike any land you know about”.

From the faded Victorian splendor, and breathtaking Shwedagon Pagoda, of Yangon, (Rangoon) to the ancient cities of historic Mandalay, the incredible temples of Bagan and the colonial hill-stations, myriad traditional hill-tribes and justly celebrated Lake Inle of the picturesque Shan Plateau. We’ll explore this incredible country by local train; rickshaw, horse and cart, Irrawaddy cruiser, canoe, bicycle and on foot and by road with the emphasis, as usual, on both famous sites and discovering the local culture; bustling markets, authentic cuisine and incredibly friendly people that comprise this highly varied and truly fabulous country. South East Asia as it used to be – an unforgettable trip!
